Delete your Ok account
Two ways to do it. Both remove the same things, and neither leaves a copy behind.
Ok is not an emergency or safety service.
- Ok is not a medical alert, panic button, or emergency response service.
- Ok does not track anyone’s location, health, or movements.
- A red or amber marker means only that the App has not been opened recently. It does not mean a person is unwell, in danger, or in need of help — and a green marker does not mean they are safe.
- Notifications depend on phones, networks and app stores we do not control, and may be delayed or may not arrive at all. Never rely on Ok in an emergency. Call your local emergency services or the person directly.
What a marker means for your family is for your family to decide. We do not interpret it for you, and we never contact anyone on your behalf.

Tap Delete my account below “Share Ok with family”. You will be shown exactly what is about to be removed, and asked to confirm.
Deletion happens immediately. Nothing waits in a queue.
Ask us to delete it for you
What we can do depends on whether you ever signed in.
If you signed in with Google, write to us from that same email address. That is what lets us find your account.
If you never signed in, your account is anonymous. We hold no email address, no phone number and no real name for you — so there is nothing tying the account to you, and nothing we could check a request against. We will not delete an account on a claim we cannot verify, because the account we deleted might be someone else’s.
What works instead: ask the people you were connected to to remove you from their lists. Each can do it from their own phone, it takes effect on both sides, and it takes you off their screens.

What is kept
We keep no copy of our own — no archive, nothing held back. Our infrastructure provider may hold routine technical backups of its systems for a short period before they are overwritten in the normal course; we cannot read those and they are not ours to keep. Anyone who had you in their list will simply stop seeing you.
This cannot be undone. If you install Ok again afterwards you will start from nothing, and the people you were connected to will need to invite you again.
What Ok held in the first place
Only what the app cannot work without: the name you chose, when you last opened it, who you check in with, and a token so notifications can reach your phone.
Never your location. Ok has no location permission and no way to know where you are.
