Please note: StudyLens is an app for tutors. This is not a job opening, and we are not hiring tutors or placing students. It is a tool for tutors who already teach their own students. If you are looking for a job, our Matching Floor is the right place instead.
What StudyLens does
Most tutors answer the same three questions every week — did my child attend, how did the test go, is he improving. Asked by every parent, separately, usually at night. StudyLens is a tutor app that turns those repeated calls and messages into one update.
Mark attendance once
Record who attended. Each parent sees only their own child’s record — nobody sees another child’s.
Share test scores
Enter marks after a class test. Parents see the score as you entered it, with no interpretation added.
Parents stay informed
Parents get the update on their own phone, without you sending anything separately to each one.
Works on any phone
A light app made for everyday Android phones and ordinary network speeds, not just new devices.

What it costs
Parents are never charged for StudyLens — not now, and not later. There is nothing for a parent to buy, upgrade or unlock.
For tutors, the whole beta is free. We have not set what it costs afterwards, and we would rather say that plainly than put up a number we might change. Whatever we decide, Pioneer Tutors will hear it from us directly, well before it applies to them.
Your students’ information
A student’s name, board, class and marks are encrypted on your phone before they are stored. Only you and the parent you paired can read them — we cannot, and neither could anyone who obtained the database.
Records cannot be edited or deleted afterwards, by anyone, including us. A correction is made by adding a new entry, so what a parent saw last week is still what they see today.
Where the app is right now
StudyLens is in build stage. It is not on the Play Store yet, and there is nothing to download today. We are being straight about that rather than collecting sign-ups for something that looks finished.
The beta goes out to our Pioneer Tutors first. If you join, we will message you personally the moment it is ready.

Is this a job? Do you give me students?
No. StudyLens does not find students for you and is not a tutoring vacancy. It is an app for keeping the parents of your existing students informed. If you are looking for work, use our Matching Floor.
Is there a registration fee?
No. There is no registration fee, no joining fee and no deposit — not to become a Pioneer Tutor, and not to use the app during the beta.
Do parents have to pay?
Never. Parents are not charged at any stage, for any feature.
I teach Classes 1–4 or 11–12 as well. Can I use it?
The app currently covers Classes 5 to 10, so students outside that range cannot be added yet. You are welcome to join as a Pioneer Tutor and tell us what you teach — which classes tutors actually handle is exactly what we are trying to learn right now.
When will the beta be ready?
We expect to share it in a couple of weeks. If that moves, we will tell you rather than go quiet.
Will there be an iPhone version?
iOS is planned, and Android comes first. Worth knowing now: this applies to the parents too. A parent on an iPhone cannot be connected yet, so if most of your parents use iPhones, StudyLens will not be much use to you at this stage. We would rather you knew that before joining than after.
